This is a permanent role based in Manila with full benefits, vacation, and bonuses. Interviews will be conducted in Manila, preceded by a Skype interview. You must be currently based in Manila. This is a work-from-home role with a weekly face-to-face meeting at the Manila office; day-to-day communication with colleagues in Manila and Singapore is online.

• inHomePortal.com is a Singapore-based BPO and Software-as-a-Service company with a small team of 10–15 people

• It builds, hosts, and manages web portal communities for high-end condominiums in Singapore, connecting residents and condo managers

• The company is 2 years old and doing well

The Role

• Focus on web development, with very strong back-end, database, and coding skills

• Develop and implement customized web portal applications on the WordPress platform

• Develop and communicate PHP architecture strategies and design

• Support implementations to ensure smooth integration with other technologies and applications

• Design and code online applications from scratch, and test-review all solutions

• Configure technical environments and deploy technical solutions on AWS

• Work with stakeholders to specify and scope requirements

• Work with a group of web designers

• Provide weekly project updates to the Technical Manager

• Travel to Singapore twice a year for training and client/team meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent

• More than 5 years of experience in web design and styling, preferably in BPO for IT/web services

• Expert knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and strong WordPress experience

• Good UX design skills

• Experience managing a team

• Strong logic, data analysis, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills for working with managers

• Able to work without continual supervision, quickly and patiently

• Able to recommend best practices and new tools
